Patrice Thornton has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Her knowledge of employment law and human resource best practices is extensive, maintaining PHR and SHRM-CP certifications and an active member of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management).
Mrs. Thornton’s experience includes, but is not limited to oversight of employee relations, talent acquisition, training, coaching, strategic planning and policy and procedure development. Although primarily focused on human resources, her experience offers a unique combination of success in the oversight of operations, business development and other key departments. This background has enabled her to be a strategic planner and her advice has resulted in cost-savings and organizational success.
Mrs. Thornton has been sought out as a subject matter expert for proposed regulatory changes. In this vein, her accomplishments include initiating meetings and collaboration with legislators to gain improvements in delayed processes that negatively impacted the recruiting process and ultimately the ability to provide customer service.
